First and foremost thank you for signing up for the Colorado NBAA Division!
Secondly our 1st tournament is about a month away, 11 May, at Pueblo Reservoir. We will meet and launch from the North Shore Marina.
If you want to pay your entry fee ahead of time you are welcome to swing by and drop off cash or pay by check. You are welcome to pay at the ramp but only cash will be accepted.
I will need proof of insurance showing $300,000 of liability coverage either emailed to me or bring a copy to the ramp. If you do not provide proof of insurance you can not fish. Please be sure to get me proof of insurance prior to the event so if there is question you can get in touch with your insurance agent sooner rather then later.
If you can not get it to me before the event I will be happy to look it over at the ramp but if it does not explicitly state you have liability coverage of $300,000 or more I can not let you fish the tournament.
I will be conducting light checks, kill switch checks, and live-well checks.
o Light Checks- Your running lights need to be in good operation in order to launch. If your running lights are not working please get them repaired, I'll be happy to do it for you please call my business line at 719-418-6728 or stop by the shop and we will get it ironed out.
o Kill Switch- if your kill switch is inoperable you will be Disqualified from the tournament, a check will be conducted while we send you off at the the launch. Once again, if your kill switch is not working call me and we will get you in for an appointment to get it working.
o Live-well checks- All we are looking or is your live-wells are empty and do not have fish previously caught, if you have fish previously caught in your live-well it is considered cheating. Please make sure your live-wells are drained and dry as I will inspect them as you pass through ANS inspection.
I will put out times for the pre-tournament meeting about 1 week before the tournament.
